Market Trend Ltd. together with Dental Tribune newspaper are organizers of the national dental contest “Smile of the year”. The first round of the contest was was held in the spring of 2008. The main goal of the contest is to distinguish the professional achievements of the Bulgarian doctors in dental medicine who work in the field of dental aesthetics, as well as to focus the public attention on the quality and standard of dental service offered in Bulgaria.

The contest is being held with the support of the Bulgarian Dental Association and all professional organizations in the field of dental aesthetics in Bulgaria.

All Bulgarian doctors of dental medicine and dental technicians have the right to participate.

The jury consists of renown names in the dental field and society in the country and abroad who are directly related to dental aesthetics or aesthetics in general. The criteria for selecting the winners are subject to the professional norms for evaluation of the quality execution of the specific dental case.

The ceremony for awarding the winners in the contest was held on April 21, 2008 in the National Museum of Archeology in Sofia. The cocktail party for the occasion was held in the exquisite atmosphere of the Art Club Museum restaurant in Sofia.
